The New Inhalation Therapy Area at Terme Redi was just opened
At Terme Redi, was inaugurated the brand-new inhalation therapy area with 144 computerized inhalation devices of a very advanced concept: 1,100 square meters containing a large hall, a functional reception desk, two inhalation rooms, medical surgeries, pediatric centres, a room for tubal and eardrum insufflations, and rooms for pulmunar ventilation and nebulized aerosol treatment.
It is a technologically advanced department, developed for welcoming many persons and giving a high-level service at the same time, both to paying guests and to those assisted by the National Health Service. The very modern and elegant environments are built with rich materials and furnished in light shades that create a relaxing atmosphere: they are located at the first floor with entrance from a splendid external staircase immersed in the green with a gate on via Marconi.
Inside, also the basement floor was renovated and opened in December 2009: it is the new division of physiotherapeutic rehabilitation with a thermal pool, rehabilitation courses in water and two gyms with a total 2,000 square metres surface. These have been very important renovations for a total investment of over 7 million Euro and have accomplished the global restoration of the whole Redi Establishment that was started two years ago with the opening of the new division for mud bath and water bath treatments on the ground floor.
The contracting building company (Cooperativa Muratori Sterratori e Affini di Montecatini Terme) is working very hard to deliver the physiotherapy division in due time.
